It does have reinforcement at connection which could prevent stress at bending causes why my original cable no longer works. It comes with a handy cable wrap which is good for storage or to tidy away when not in use. It charges fast and so far so good. I am pleased with the price & received two, handy to charge & be able to still use the phone away from wall! Thanks

    If you are like me, your iPad is never far from your side. They seem to be the go to item that everyone has....the kids have the iPhone, but if, like me you are a bit older, you want to do your viewing on a bit of a larger screen!
    The only problem I had was that, in using my iPad as much as I did, I needed to keep it charged or plugged in....this in tern created a new issue, the plug would, without question wear out at the tip that connects to the iPad and crack, split and die....or like my most recent cord purchased from Apple...die after less then 6 months of use!
    I'm so happy to have found these ones, the design prevents any issues with the cable bending, cracking, tearing or ripping at the connection port as they are simply made better, at a better angle that makes more sense when you consider the cable will be plugged in and connected as you use the iPad.
    They seem to be tuff and sturdy, well made, and so far are doing the job without question and exceptionally well, and they come in a box of three, so even if this one dies, I have another one on hand, right away to keep my device working, and then can order more!
    So far this is doing what I need it to do...and I'm happy with the quality.
    I'd say if you need a new cable, order a box of these!

    Living in a household that has 5 people, each with two or more devices, charging cables are everywhere. Most of the ones received with the device last for about 3 or 4 years of constant use, but since they are straight adaptors, the plastic housing tends to bend and break.
    These new cables have a solid right angle, so are the most practical for when the device needs to be in a vertical manor, have very little cable strain when used in a horizontal manor, plus they fit into many hand-made or non-brand name charger/device holders just as good, if not better than the straight ones.
    Overall, excellent items for a very reasonable price.
