Arrived with 2 holes in window net

Arrived with 2 holes in window net
The tent arrived with a hole in the net of a window and a hole in the window flap. I unfortunately waited a year to go camping so did not see it when I first got it. It also leaked at the first rainstorm. Most expensive tent I have ever purchased and I am so disappointed.

The tent hasn't been in the rain yet. As described, its easy to erect. But the description leaves out that its also very easy to take down and fits back into the bag. The tent is darker than a normal tent, but not pitch dark.

5.0 out of 5 stars one of the best tents for your money hands down.

this is a big tent. you can easily fit 3 queen size mattress with room for gear. set up and take down takes about 10 to 15 minutes on a light breezy day. im 6'2 and have plenty of head room threw out the tent. the black on the inside is almost like a vinyl coating. block out about 70 percent of light which is great know more early 5am sunrise i can finally sleep to 8am. plenty of airflow and it does come with a room divider. the stakes for the tent are of low end and bend on hard ground. I would buy a set of heavy duty stakes. the seams are all taped except for the top where the rain fly covers.
i used nikwax uv and water repellent spray for the tent to make sure that tent stays dry and that the uv dosent damage the tent over time. I camp a lot so the extra protection goes along way. for the prise point on this tent I would defiantly buy again. used it 4 times already had no issues even in a light rainstorm. no leaks. the only down side to this tent that i found so far was that fact that the front of tent where the door is their is no way to stake it to the ground so zipping up the door and unzipping to get out is a bit of a hassle do to the material being not anchored it has a tendency to pull up while zipping. the second thing i have come across is the fact that the coating on the inside of tent is not 100% bonded to to the tent so you have to be care full. Reason is left a small piece of tape that got stuck to the inside of tent. when i went to pull it some of the vinyl came off with the tape. the tent was still in good shape but because of the missing vinyl, light was able to shine threw that spot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, large tent

Don’t be scared by the handful of low reviews for this tent. I just used this tent for 5 days in high heat (one day of rain/thunderstorms) and this is an absolutely excellent tent. The material quality is very good, the size is fantastic and with all of the windows open and fly removed is it beautifully airy. The only thing I do not like about this tent is that with the rain fly on it can get scorching hot inside. The clear skylights in the rain fly essentially create a greenhouse that you do not want to be in if the sun is out. I kept the fly off on the hot sunny days and only put it on when the rain came and I was completely happy with it.

There were a couple reviews that mentioned that the tent leaked. This was not the case for me, the tent held up perfectly without even a drop of water anywhere during very windy torrential rainstorms for a full day. Even in the storms I was able to keep all of the windows about 3-4” open at the top for ventilation with no rain getting in. The tent performed very very well and is spacious. I had a queen air mattress, a twin air mattress as well as a pack and play inside and there was still plenty of room to walk around/in between them all inside.

The setup was also very very easy, I set it up by myself in about 10 minutes the first time. Very very easy.

This is a 5 star tent if you want a large dark tent for your youngsters to nap in.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to setup/take down does not hold up to wind and darkening had multiple streaks and holes

I like how easy it was to setup / take down and I liked the space and height in the tent very easy to move around. We had rain and winds which I was very impressed with the rain guard it is very durable and very strong holds up well in the wind which were around 8mph. The tent on the other hand in our experience did not hold up well in strong winds at all when we were camping out in the open and the 3 back side poles did collapsed multiple times so we had to end up using straps and tying to our truck so they did not break. The other thing we liked was the darkrest feature which did well the only complaint with this was that there were multiple areas that had streak that allowed light through which we found on the inside corner areas and on the back wall area there were multiple areas width speckles and streaks that allows light to come through which we felt compromised the integrity of the the tent. We will be returning this tent and will look for another darkening tent with better quality darkening material.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spacious, Easy to set up!

Absolutely love this tent! I spent about 3 weeks reading reviews, looking at tents for one I felt I would love. I have been camping for work to save on my per diem and needed a spacious tent to be comfortable. I am glad I made the choice to go with this one. I like the air flow it offers, the access (windows) are plenty and cool moonlight access. I'm 6'1 and can stand without ducking. With that being said, the set up process was incredibly easy. So even those of you shorter then 6'1 it has the fixed poles and works like a pop up canopy would. I am not a experienced camper and I set it up myself under 15 minutes.

As a believer in all reviews including something on the negative side. Not much here. Love this tent and would recommend to all. I do see a small pin hole in one of my windows. First time using it I noticed it, however I can't confirm I got it like that or if I may have done something during set up.

Great tent! And I have had multiple compliments here at stone mountain.
