Bought this in July and already its failed me. I live in the northern Midwest, nothing even resembling tornado weather in my area. A couple days ago it got a little windy and it completely crumpled. Not only did two of the metal ropes that it came with snap but 6 bars where sheered off or bent. I even put extra spikes into the ground and it still gave out.Very unimpressed with the product, spend your money somewhere else.

It was easy to put together everything was labeled clearly. It took us a bit longer than anticipated, but it was our first time putting one together and was easy to follow the instructions. Tarp is good quality and very durable. We had a big windstorm about a week after putting it up and it withstood the rain and wind with no worries.

Well i was happy at first. Assembly was awkward but only because of the size. Not their fault. The shed has been outside and assembled for 20 months. Its weighted down and secured so nothing is flapping in the wind and yet the roof refuses to stop ripping. Holes everywhere at the supports and in the middle. Apparently no U.V. protection at all because the south side facing the sun is garbage. Sorry but for $330 this should last a lot longer than 20 months

Just finished assembly. Looks good, seems sturdy. Can't comment on durability yet. The instructions were excellent, don't listen to the reviews that say the instructions are not good. Just follow step by step and don't jump ahead. There were a few fit and finish issues, some burrs on punched holes stopped pipes from being inserted. Had to use a file to smooth them out. There are three lengths of bolts all a few mm different, all in the same bag, be nice if they were seperated. The augers weren't much use in my rocky ground. I used cinder blocks tethered to the frame.

The parts and cover of this product are precisely cut and shaped. Quality is excellent with some exceptions. I have an engineering background and I've assembled hundreds of items like this over my lifetime BUT, the assembly of this product was THE most frustrating experience I've had in many years. You need to have abundant patience because the precision is high and there's no room for error. Even though the manufacturer recommends two people to assemble I did it myself. Unless you have a partner that is intensely interested in understanding the instructions they would be minimally helpful. I would definitely not recommend doing this with your spouse - you may end up dodging flying tools. If you have a tendency toward profanity you'll need to keep children and neighbors out of earshot. I had to walk away from the process several times to cool down enough to resume. It took me about 8 hours to complete the assembly. When completed it was excellent. Would I buy it again? No. I'd definitely recommend it to someone that I find annoying, like the neighborhood know-it-all, but not to a friend. Here's some tips; (1) sort all of the bolts out by size - the length difference it not noticeable enough to dig them out of a pile. When the instructions call out a specific length it's for a good reason. The hardware count is exact - if you have any extra hardware left over you need to find out where it goes BEFORE you put on the covers. (2) Put some tape over the tubes before you slide them into the pockets - the ends of the tubes are sharp enough to cut the plastic. (3) If you can mount the frame to a floor of some type or concrete pad do it. Otherwise you'll spend a few hours of time walking around it moving legs back into position as you work. (4) Watch out for the ratcheting strap tighteners. They look like the tie-down straps on a boat trailer but they're poorly built, worse than any I've ever seen. (5) Watch the YouTube videos on assembly.

UPDATE - It’s June 2018 and it’s pretty much as good as new. It would be as good as new if I hadn’t launched a chunk of aluminum angle through the side while using my chop saw. However I patched it with duct tape (which color matches exactly). I changed my mind, I will be buying another one but I’ll hire someone else to put it together.

I believe this shed to worth its price tag. To me, that warrants 5 stars. Last winter during a wind storm it even found itself on the other side of the fence in the neighbor's yard, partially on their roof. Not even exaggerating. As soon as we realized what happened, I rushed over with an extra hand, 'rolled' the shed back over the fence to my side. Structurally, the shed held up nicely. The support bars needed to be re-tightened and aligned, and there were a few rips from a sharp rain gutter corner that pierced the roof and one side, but nothing that wasn't easily patchable by cutting to size the extra material given to you in the box. Although, I'll admit I didn't see the extra vinyl until after I repaired it completely with Gorilla clear duct tape. The key to creating an extra strong repair bond with regular duct tape is to press the tape firmly into the vinyl then apply moderate heat with a heat gun and press into the vinyl some more. Warm-to-hot duct tape becomes a few times more stickier and reliable, especially when you're asking for it to be 'weather-proof'. I also had the shed weighted down by 4 x 15-20lbs sand bags, so I decided to tie a 5 gallon Culligan water jug to one corner to make certain even a hurricane would have issues blowing this shed away again. I also sprayed throughout the tent, some insect/spider repellent/walkway stuff and it also remains pest free as well. Hope this helps.

    UPDATE 3 YEARS LATER:
I purchased 2 more of these 10' x 10' sheds. I 'incubated' my growing handcrafted furniture company out of my house and these sheds played a significant role in offering more usable 'shop space' outside on my back patio. Essentially, I was playing the real life game of SIM WOODSHOP in my backyard. Without these sheds, we wouldn't have been able to increase our production output and thus promise shorter lead times and thus lock in more sales and thus have enough money to hire top-tier local talent and thus continue to grow the company enough to be able to move out of my living room / single car garage / back patio. Yes, it was indeed as silly as you are imagining.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great inexpensive storage solution.
Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2022
Size: 10 x 10-FeetPattern Name: Storage ShedVerified Purchase
I have been in need of a shed for some time now. With the price of lumber through the roof during the pandemic, a wood shed was out of the question. I had previously owned a Rubbermaid 7'x7' shed, but the prices of that shed has gone up substantially over the last few years as well. For the price, the Shelter Logic cannot be beat. The 10'x10' is a great size for my needs.

Assembly was more involved than I anticipated. I did most of the assembly myself, so that could have something to do with it. Another issue was that the part numbers stamped onto some of the metal tubing was really hard to distinguish. Some of them were readable, but probably half of them were not easily readable.

The instructions are okay. Would it really kill them to write out some of the explanations? Most of the steps were pretty clear, but I was definitely unsure of how the ratchet straps should attach. The pictures in my booklet made it look like both straps (on each corner) hooked to the outside of the tube, which isn't really possible, plus why are there holes on both sides of the tube. I don't know if it really matters how they are connected, but 1 strap is visible at each corner. None of the photos I've looked at seem to show the straps being visible.

I did not purchase the door roll up kit. Rolling up the door is kind of a pain in the butt, so I ended up buying a 10' piece of 1" PVC pipe. I cut it to the size of the bottom of the door and filled the PVC with sand to give it some weight. I capped both sides of the pipe. Now it rolls up with ease and the weight of it makes it hard for critters to get under the door.

Only time will tell how well the shed cover holds up to the Georgia sun. It's been in use for about 2 months now. I have it mostly in the shade, but there are a few hours a day where it gets full sun. It does get hot inside the shed, so I may buy a set of vents for it. We haven't had any really strong winds yet, probably nothing over 20 mph gusts, but it seems pretty sturdy, even with the temporary stakes that it came with.
