Relatively lighter weight. Good warmth but seems to breath quite well. Overall very comfortable in an A/C cooled room in the Interior of BC. There was a slight stain ( black ink or grease ) in the corner but not worth sending back. Also, I’ve attached the wonderful contradicting instructions for cleaning lol.

    Love the Downcool comforter. Very happy with my purchase. It's lightweight but still warm. I live in Canada so temperature varies significantly from summer to winter. I'm a hot sleeper so it's working well for me. I really like the crisp cotton feeling just like hotel comforters. I purchased the queen-gray and it's exactly as advertised. I've also put it through 2 washes on gentle cycle with no issues.

    This Duvet is perfect if you sleep hot or have a bed that is too warm.
    My other Duvet was too hot with my bed and this one is perfect. It’s lighter and cooler but still the same comfort as my other duvet .
    One thing to note it is not fluffy, it’s mostly flat but I love it.

Some day I would like to try a expensive one as I love my comfort , want the fancy hotel sleeping in a cloud experience , not there yet but I do not regret buying this duvet. And I have to add that the customer service for this company was excellent ,prompt ,polite & friendly !

    Just upgraded from a queen sized mattress to a king and I sleep alone and don’t love to feel trapped in a blanket and I don’t at all with this duvet it’s nice and light weight.

    When reading reviews anywhere, do so with a grain of salt. Everyone’s perspective and preferences are different. One thing that’s making me laugh is the complaints on the comforter not being quality - well duh, it’s under $300! If you want high end lux then spend the money, but don’t complain on a review
    My boyfriend is a furnace when he sleeps - any season (and we get all four in Canada!) so instead of buying a fully down-filled duvet which is what I wanted, I shopped around and figured we’d try this - the price point was right and the reviews were good. This is a great option for anyone who is interested in an affordable duvet insert to keep all comfortable. Throw it in the dryer with some fabric sheets to fluff up and remove any lingering odours.

    First off, let me say that my son likes this comforter, finds it comfortable and warm, so it does what it is supposed to do! My thoughts as the buyer though -- the comforter is sort of as described. It is not as "full/fluffy" as the picture would suggest (even after washing and drying as instructed). Also note that the filling is 95% feathers, 5% down, so if you want a "down" comforter this one is not for you. The fabric is also not as soft or pliable as the pictures/descriptions suggest. Although it is 100% cotton, it doesn't behave/feel like your favourite cotton t-shirt! The fabric is thin and feels kind of "starchy" (for lack of a better word) when I move it between my fingers. After washing and drying the fabric still looks quite wrinkled. I guess a duvet cover would look after that. So, in the end, on sale the product is affordable, it does what it is supposed to do so I can't really complain, but it lacks upper end feel if that is something that is important to you.

Plus the weight of the blanket is so light but stays over you as you twist around at night but doesn't wind-up wrapped like a mummy. Only thing...it smells slightly. It's the feathers...hopefully it will dissipate with time an fluffing in a cool dryer with scented dryer sheets.
