- Reviewed in Canada on December 2, 2022Verified PurchaseI'm 4 months in and I still really love the delta mini, it works amazing. Originally, I bought it to assist with the next power outage, to be able to run a full-size microwave and keep a fridge going, so the 1400W continuous output combined with light weight and portability was what made me choose delta mini over the river and full delta models. But in the mean-time while waiting for power outages, I'm actually using it in so many ways I never even thought of originally. Even at home it's easier to use then getting out an extension cord for stuff like drilling with corded drill indoors or even running temporary lights for halloween. For outdoor work, like a corded chainsaw, or corded drilling auger away from home it works amazing and can work out of reach of an extension cord I use it all the time after a huge windstorm knocked out a dozen trees. I'm also using it as a UPS for my desktop computer, it handles the power interruption without computer rebooting, the switch over time is fast enough and it runs the setup for hours instead of the 10 minutes of normal UPS with lead acid batteries. I love the app interface and ability to adjust the settings, it is just so well thought through. I looked at other products like Bluetti and Jackery but to me Ecoflow's feature list and value is at the top of this market.

Edit on Feb 18th, 2022: EcoFlow decided to accept the return of this defective unit after this review was posted. I was told "Normally, the replacement would be shipped after the returned parcel is received.
But I have applied for a special solution for you that the replacement unit to be arranged for you as soon as your parcel is shipped out." and I dropped off the replacement to FedEx on Wednesday, Feb 16th. Since then, I have now been told that a unit will be shipped out Friday which came and went, now it's Monday but that's a holiday so they're not sure when one will ship. At this point, they have my $1,200 and the defective unit I originally purchased. They're an absolute nightmare to deal with, spare yourself the headache, look at Jackery or Bluetti.
I did a lot of research before buying this unit. For $1,263 taxes in, you would think this would be a reliable unit considering it costs the same as a small Honda Generator. Sadly, it arrived completely dead. The unit will not power on and will not charge using the supplied 110V cable. I have tried several outlets but all the unit does is clicks when plugged in, doesn't charge and will not turn on. I contacted Amazon to return it and was told they won't take it back since it was sold and shipped by a 3rd party merchant through Amazon. I contacted the merchant and was asked to send a video to prove that I wasn't lying, no troubleshooting was offered. I am very disappointed to have spent close to $1,300 on a paperweight that neither Amazon nor the manufacturer will take responsibility for. Buyer beware, don't make the same mistake I did.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 13, 2024Verified PurchaseTakes a bit of time and concentration to familiarize yourself with the product, charge it up, and test it out. Found the right sturdy plastic bin to put it in and everything needed for carrying and for storage and transportation.
Will soon be doing my first trip to the cottage and both my electric chain saws work well on it and so might a bunch of corded electric tools I have there (trimmers, hedgers, pole saw, etc. etc.). Will have to wait and see about the refrigerator and a small electric air conditioner - but I know I will get up the 2 hills even if there is a slew of branches down.
- Reviewed in Canada on February 2, 2024Verified PurchaseI purchased the EcoFlow Delta 1300 as it was a good value for the power provided. When the unit showed up at my door it was very well packaged and is a really solid unit! I've owned several lithium power stations before and this is by far the quietest model I've owned - even with the AC inverter on. It charges up very quickly and provides more than the rated output power (surge wattage). As I increase my battery needs I'm sure I'll buy another EcoFlow product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works as expected. Very satisfied.
Verified PurchaseMy experience with the purchase of the Ecoflow Delta Mini started out being frustrating, but ultimately the unit met my expectations fully.
My desire for a portable power station was for a backup power solution in the event of emergencies. I wanted a unit that would be able to recharge our devices as well as small appliances for a substantial period without access to home electrical power. Another requirement was the ability to recharge the battery unit from a solar panel in case the power did not come back in a reasonable period of time. After some research, I settled on the Ecoflow brand and the Delta Mini as the model that could suit my basic needs while remaining within my budget.
I initially purchased the Ecoflow Delta Mini listed at $799 with a $50 discount coupon upon checkout. I also purchased an Ecoflow 160 watt solar panel to accompany the battery unit for $349. I was pleased to receive both items within a few days of the order.
Unfortunately, the Delta Mini I received did not work properly. The unit would charge up when plugged in and I could charge devices from it, but the power button (on/off) did not work. After shutting down from inactivity, the unit would only become active again if plugged back into the wall. Not good if you need to use the device but have no access to a working power plug.
I called Ecoflow and after a short evaluation by the operator and an email, they agreed that the unit was defective and arranged for a shipping label for return and eventually replacement. Unfortunately, the process to receive a new unit would take several weeks. To avoid such a long wait, I sent the defective unit back and ordered a second unit from Amazon. The new unit arrived a couple of days later. Not long after, my defective unit got back to the factory and I was issued a full refund. Minor frustration, but the company made it right.
As for the Ecoflow Delta Mini, it works as expected and very well at that. I tested it with the devices that I planned to power it with and found that it charged up multiple devices via the USB outlets at the expected rates. Even fast charging those phones via the one USB that has that capability. The unit also powered small appliances (albeit with significant drain of the battery). I tested a 1500 watt electric kettle with 1.7 liters of water, and was able to get a full boil in 6 minutes with about 16-18% batter drain at each attempt. The same test with 1.7 liters of water on a single burner 1200 watt hot plate took 13 minutes to a full boil and drained 36% of the battery. A test of keeping a 7 cu. foot freezer alive overnight (12 hours) gave me a 60% drain of the battery. All in all, interesting results. It meets my needs, but be aware that if you hope to power more appliances for a longer period of time you will need one of the bigger and more expensive units.
As for recharging, the Delta Mini charged up very quickly from the wall plug. It only takes an hour or so to top up from the 50-60% area to full. When it’s really low (below 30%) you might need up to two hours to get a full charge.
I was impressed with the solar panel. It was listed at 160 watts, and with full sunlight it gave exactly that. As the clouds passed by it dipped a bit (103, 137, etc.) but as long as the sun was strong it was plugging right along. However whenever the clouds blocked the sun, the output dropped all the way down. Sometimes in the 24-77 watt range, but often at zero. Keep that in mind, as the weather of the day will affect how much re-charge you will get. My test day had strong sun, but with periods that the clouds passed over and blocked it completely. All told, in that session it took me 1 hour to gain a 10% charge on the battery. If you are going to rely on the sun to get your battery from 0 to 100, expect it to take all day if it gets there at all. Perhaps a second (expensive) panel might make that more realistic.
Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase as well as the response by customer service to my issues.

1.0 out of 5 stars No joy for me.
Verified PurchaseThe media could not be loaded.
Short version it has not worked for me. Will be returning.
Still unit seems well designed and built, just does not work.
Unit shows that it should run for at least 2 hours with a 300 watt draw, but then goes into ‘overload’ and shuts down. With lower load 150 watts, says it should work for 4 hours but still goes into overload and shuts down. Have talked to EcoFlow they seem willing to exchange it, but By the time that happens the Amazon return window will close so it’s going back.

Original review.
I have had several of these devices and am so far very impressed with the EcoFlow. I need something that can provide ~1200 pure sine watts for a few hours while plugged into my car 12v. The EcoFlow can provide the watts and operate while plugged in (many can't). The second use will be to run my small car fridge and I doubt it will even break a sweat doing that. I already have a second battery in my rig, but I really don't want to run the thick cables I would need for a 1200watt inverter. This EcoFLow solves that problem - draws power at 8 amps from my aux battery and can provide many more amps for short uses. Much smaller and lighter than I expected as well, which is a nice plus. The app has several good features - including the ability to limit the charge and discharge of the battery for longer life (I set 10% reserve on the low end and 95% on the high end). Most of the wear on batteries is when you get to fully discharged or charged. You can also control the charge rate on AC (200-900 watts) and set the timeouts for various outlets. Really nice features. FYI I would never charge at the 900 watt range unless you had and urgent reason - slower charge rates will extend that battery life as well.
Seems really well built with good features and will do exactly what I ask. I will update with any problems.
One thing I noticed is the cooling far is pretty loud when charging on AC, but it effective and moving the heat out of the device.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really powerful power station with portable weight that can run a rice cooker
Verified PurchaseThe media could not be loaded.
Out the box I decided to run a quick calibration of the power station because I could not get a 100% full charge reading from the read-out panel after battery stopped charging. I charged up the power station and then drained the battery down to 0% and charge it back up. That did the trick of recalibrating the power station and it showed 100% charge at the end. Then I paired up Delta mini with the app and ran an update on the firmware. Everything went well without any issue. I ran a test with Whirlpool full size refrigerator. It was pulling 150~600W effortlessly. I figured I can get about 8-12 hours from a fully charged Delta mini since fridge does not run all the time. Next, I used the power station to run a rice cooker. The rice cooker was pulling 8-900W and drained the battery really fast, this also caused the cooling fan to kick in high gear to dissipate the heat that was creating. I decided to plug in the AC cable to start charging the battery station before it drained out. Interestingly, I set the AC wall input limit at 200W from the phone app, but the station decided to charge at 1100-1200W to be ahead of what rice cooker is pulling. At the end, I have more power than I first started.
Ecoflow Delta mini and River Pro power station is now taking turn to be used during the weekend when the family goes out. The power station is used to power my 30L portable fridge and other small electronics. The power stations will be down about 20% after running the portable fridge at 3C degrees for 8-9 hours by using the DC port. After several weeks of running the battery station, I am very impressed with Delta mini, and my friends are showing interests to gat one too. At the moment Amazon has a $50 coupon for Delta Mini, which will bring the final price cheaper than when I made the purchase. 5-star for Ecoflow Delta Mini.

I just lived through 2 Hurricanes. I have 3 of these and none work. I sent 2 of them back for repairs. so far I got one back. Still has the same problem. Won't take a charge and app won't connect.. The larger ones are all vaporware. Would not take a charge. I live in Florida and power outages from storms and Hurricanes need power backup is necessary. 4.0 out of 5 stars The WiFi App has some issues, Mini hardware is solid

Update: Support for this product was great. Finaly got the bugs worked out on the App and the Asus router. Maybe the firmware update that was available helped. The fix was to turn off the firewall on my Asus router. After the mini is connected to the app and your network you can turn the firewall back on.
So far I powered a window AC unit (400 watts) and the Keurig coffee maker with no issues.
