After receiving the blade, I was a little disappointed. The picture and the ad would entail that the clipper is new, and when I opened it I believed so; as the packaging was all intact, the oil was never opened, the clippers were in their packing. But then when i removed the blade cap, there was rust on the clipper. If it was used before, to the point where there was time for rust to develop, why say that it's new??

    i bought this to trim mainly my beard but as it turns out the product is a lot bigger then it appears in the pictures. however even keeping in mind that it didnt serve its initial purpose the product is pretty good as I've use it on my beard regardless, it doesn't have great clip selection for the beard but if you are using it for your hair then it works great. it makes a bit of noise but other then that i can't complain. i only wished that the different length heads were made of something more sturdier as it slightly bends if the hair is course.

    i give this product 5 stars because it does what its advertised as and its not bad for the price.

    These clippers are very sturdy and well constructed, while still being fairly small. The plastic attachments seem cheap in comparison to the quality unit, but work fine. The clippers are definitely on the professional side and much better than cheaper clippers I've had in the past. I personally wouldn't mind if the clippers could cut even closer, but than it could cause some cuts.

    The product is great, I've had it for a month.
    My first choice was whal but they were pricey and only certain products are good, also wanted oster but I'm not at that lvl as a barber yet so I went with the most reasonable price and what my barber friend advised, which is andis. I honestly have no complaints, and I can see myself getting an andis master in the future.
    I've seen comments about how they got it and the blade is either too much to the left or too much to the right. There's an easy video you can search to align it properly.
    Another worry of mine was, people are getting 2nd hand product, which is not the case for me fortunately. Just make sure to buy new not the "new & used" option.
    It's great for beginners, very affordable. Comparing it to other clippers with the same price in Amazon, this one is definitely the better option. IMO andis did a great job other than not having 1.5mm included with the clippers. My only question is how long it will last.... stay tuned !

    If you are a professional, these may not be for you.
    For once a month hair cut, they work great.

    If your expectations are not sky high:
    - extremely high grade plastic parts
    - 'gets too hot' / not comfortable to hold after ~5 minutes
    - too noisy
    - 'not pink' etc. etc.

    Then it is a very decent purchase. Don't overthink or get stuck in analysis-paralysis.

    Is the '#1' comb too big for side burns and over the ear trim? Yes. Should there be a 0.5. My only wish, that will likely never come true (sigh!).
