I had read that these were the best, etc etc... I don't believe the hype. I've got ~360 blades by Astra, Voskhod, and RK, and they're basically all the same besides how long they last. Brand new, they all do a great job, but I basically only use the RKs once. All are being used in My Henson AL13, or AL13++.
These Feathers cost more than double the price of any of the others, but I wanted to know... Are they worth it?
Absolutely the sharpest, smoothest possible. Single pass, they left me bare. I still kept shaving, due to habit, and I hit it from a few different angles, just to make sure it's close, as I'm used to regular razors. They leave my skin feeling almost sticky it was so hairless... not sure how else to describe it. I shave daily with an aggressive razor, and the next day besides a few at the bottom of my neck, there was just nothing to get.
They require less force, less passes, and even with my more mild razor handle, a bit more attention.
100/10 for quality, even though these are the first blades I've managed to cut myself with in years.
They don't last any longer than the Voskhod, but for the first 2 shaves, are sharper than the Voskhod is at day 1.
The cheapest/worst blade money can buy is still pretty good, but when you want a perfect shave, these are the ones.
