SOUNDSTREAM T5.124 12" TARANTULA 2000 WATTS MAX DUAL 4-OHM SUBWOOFER BASS SPEAKER NEW In recent years, Tarantula subwoofers have evolved to meet various performance and placement goals, keeping our, the Soundstream fanatic, suggestions in mind. However, more often than not, we hear your calls to bring back a legend. For 2015, we're proud to re-introduce the old favorite, Tarantula T5. For this next generation, we made a few changes and several improvements. Improvements include direct connect wire leads, over saturated 12mm top plate and t-yoke and double-stitched cone to high density polyether foam surround for improved sound quality. Key components that you expect from T5 still remain; big ass 1,000w 3" voice coil, triple-stack magnet structure, high density Spruce pulp sub-cone, and the iconic black-on-black Soundstream spider.

    These are incredible! Put 3 of them in a vented box purchased on Amazon and the results were insane! My Jeep jku is rockin! Put a Hifonics Brutus on them in series and I think for sure the first time ever... I’m satisfied with my system! Do yourself a favor and buy. Customer service from this seller was outstanding in tracking down my third sub and getting it to me ASAP! Will buy from them again👍🏼👍🏼
    UPDATE— Changed the amp for these power hungry monsters to a PPI Black Ice 7000.1.... ever seen the freedom tops blown out of a Jeep?!?! I can do that little trick! These subs do not disappoint!

    One of these bumps so loud and damn near shook my Mercedes apart. One of these bumps was so loud it nearly shook my Mercedes apart. Those things are built like a damn tank. I’ll tell you what, I blew the speaker in 14 days, so I sent it back for my money and went and bought some Memphis Audio Mojo mini 8-inch subwoofers and a loaded ported enclosure. Do yourself a favor and go pick that up for $399. You’ll thank me later, and go get yourself a 1500 W amp. You don’t even need all that power. They’ll sound great anyway and shake and rattle the whole damn neighborhood. Enjoy your sound because you know your neighbors aren’t.
