    I’ve been keeping tropical fish for many years and have the need of a heater for the cooler months. Heater is made well and has thick wiring so I know it can handle the stated wattage. Instructions for this heater make no mention of exactly how to and where to mount the supplied suction cups or the 2 piece bracket? Not even sure what the plastic part is and what’s it for. I read the instructions over and over and I’m clueless. I have used all sorts of heaters and aquarium equipment in my days, but I’m perplexed. I looked at every available picture on the sellers web site and can see absolutely no use for these parts. Heater works fine and temperature is accurate. Just wishing the instructions were more concise.

It has suction cups that are about 3 inches deep and these are the heavy duty ones that work good so it stays put. It’s been on now for two days and holding the temperature really well. I changed the temperature two times so far to see how it works and I am really impressed with this heater. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone needing a good reliable heater for their tank.
