Love the colour and grey blending
My hair usually pulls reds, so I was a bit hesitant to try another new colour. I used to use a lighter shade, but it just never worked. Went for the light ash brown (6a) and I feel like this is the colour for me.Followed the instructions exactly...and I will add that before colouring with a demi/semi I always wash a day ahead with shampoo and I do not condition it. After colouring I do not wash the product out with shampoo (only water and then the provided conditioner), and I don't wash my hair for at least 2 days after. I don't have a lot of grey, but I had at least a couple inches of pretty heavy grey roots and I think they're blended quite nicely. In fact, this turned out way better than the demi I had at the salon for $150 a few months ago!Only complaint I have is that for some reason I found this time to be quite irritating to my scalp and skin around sideburn areas, by ears and forehead. First time I'm noticing that. Seemed weird. Sure hope that it's better next time. The irritation did go away after rinsing entirely. If this colour is available in a local store I'd be tempted to buy it from there next so I can compare experiences. I have sensitive skin, so don't enjoy when something really bothers me.Overall pleased and will likely buy again.

    I've used boxed dye on my hair for decades and recently decided to go from black to dark brown back to auburn. It's going to take a while for the black to grow out, but this dye hits the roots and gives a nice reddish sheen over the black. I don't wash my hair too often, only about once a week because it is thin and dry, so I've never had a problem with this washing out before the next application. I also alternate this with a permanent dark burgundy. One box is enough for a short style - more than a pixie but not quite chin length twice. I just weigh out half the bottle and half of the cream, mix them in an old bottle and apply.

    I have used this brand multiple times and I can’t decide how I fully feel.
    This time round I used dark burgundy. Hair was black on day 1…… couple of washes later it looked just like the box/as expected. 2 washes later I see no red tinge anymore. It’s literally washed out in 10 days with 4 shampoos.
    I Can see my dark blonde roots too!
    Reasons why I am not sure if this is a love or hate product……. Pro, It’s sometimes good to know it will wash out quickly, means you can experiment and not worry. Hair is shiny, smooth and feels healthy.
    Negative, the time and money for short result. I have thick hair to my shoulders and needed 2 boxes of dye, it doesn’t go far!

    To everyone commenting it’s too dark….. just wash your hair and it will calm down or leave dye on for less time before washing off :)

    Thankfully no allergic reaction. Didn't stain the tub or sink. I got the black brown color. The only thing is the picture shows that it's a little bit more brown (warm) than it actually is in person. In reality it's more of a natural black, so darker than the pic. But no blue undertones and no green undertones, just nice and natural. It took me forever to find a shade like this. Every other shade on Amazon people said they were too cool toned (blue or green undertones) or red brown results.

    Will buy this again if I need a touch up. Other people said that it lasts longer than a demi-permanent normally should so keep that in mind.
