- Reviewed in Canada on December 2, 2024Verified PurchaseMy husband is hard on his laces so we decided to try these. So far so good!
- Reviewed in Canada on November 15, 2023Verified Purchasethese laces outlast my boots. I am a Red Seal Millwright and I do a lot of welding, oxyacetylene cutting and plasma cutting.

- Reviewed in Canada on March 26, 2022Verified PurchaseThese are excellent laces and will outlast the boots they are in. As other reviewers have stated they are not 108” even though the packaging says they are. They are 84” long. They will laces 12 holes but barely with just enough to tie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these!
Verified PurchaseI am a Ranger for very well know state agency in VA. I have iron laces on all of my work boots. The ones that are the most gray are the oldest coming in at about 4 years, are on my police boots. The second ones I just had to replace recently after having them on for about the same time. Although they were used during several fire seasons as well. The last pair that are the darkest I just put on those boots in the past month as I had to get new boots for fire. The old ones were starting to give me trouble. Only problem is the dye that is used does come off and they do turn gray. Other than that I absolutely love these. Will be continuing to use them on all my boots.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tough laces
Verified PurchaseI've used these before and I know they'll probably out live most footwear. But be careful as they're so strong you may pull them too hard and could possibly damage your footwear or hands. They don't break so something may give? I've even tried to set fire to a pair and they survived just went a little black. Not saying they'll survive a full on fire but they'll stand up too much more then a normal pair of laces. They also don't rot like some laces do when it's wet or salt gets on them when the winter months set in and salt and grit is everywhere. They're a good buy if your looking for a pair of laces that'll last years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, sturdy, not color fast.
Verified PurchaseThe boots I own eat laces, something about how the eyes are made cut laces. These have lasted way longer than any other laces.
There are some cons, but the cons are from how tough they are.
When I first got them, they were super stiff, so much so I rope burned my pinky finger. (They did get softer after awhile, but it took some time for them to soften up a bit.)
The black laces aren't color fast. They have turned gray, which I don't mind for work boots/in general. They are darker where the lace doesn't rub on the eye/metal hooks. They have frayed a little bit on the eyes but not really much.
The only thing I could think would improve them, would be using a metal aglet...

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly the laces my husband wanted and could not find.
Verified PurchaseMy husband wanted 108” boot laces that were heavy duty and yet not parachute cord fat. These are a full 108” and fits his eyelets. He loves the nylon/Kevlar construction. He’s lace-picky and was frustrated that he couldn’t find any in our area.
These are exactly what he was looking for with the rugged durability he wants. Plus I am the genius who found them. It’s all a win.
