I actually prefer the styling of these over some of the boots twice the price. For a day-to-day winter boot they are great.I usually wear a 9.5-10 in boots. I purchased the 10 and it fits perfect with a thick sock, and a little loose with just a cotton sock.     I have had these boot for two weeks. I walk, I hike and I am impressed. The grip is great. No issues with snow and ice, so far. However, I think black ice is, black ice. Get spikes for that mess.
    Price point is fantastic.
    They look great.
    They are warm. I have had no issues with cold or wet feet. Of course we all have to get through the end of winter. I'm in southern Ontario it can be a cold, wet, frozen, humid, salty nightmare.
    I do advise to buy a winter boot spray. ($20)
    I would have uploaded pics however, if you are reading this you have seen the pictures. Great boots, very comfy.

    The fit of the boot is good and does well against water and slush. Since purchase, there have been a few times I was unsure if I felt water in a tiny spot under my right foot while walking in wet winter. The ankle area very roomy and felxible therefore it lacks support. This concerns me since I have a a weak ankle due to sprains. Behind the heel of the boot may be pront to water penetration although I have not experienced this. I rate this a 4.5 based because it low cost, true to size, and very functional. I dlislike the soft flexibility around the ankle height of the boot the uncertainty of water entering the sole of the boot. I would definitely buy version two if the manufacturer adds support to the ankle area and refines the waterproofing a little more.

I was initially looking at Sorrels for him that looked similar to these, but didn’t want to pay the huge price tag for them.     They are comfy to wear and dry and warm out in the snow, and fit my typical shoe size, but the first time I tightened the laces 2 of the rivets that hold the lace loops on popped out and I was only able to pop one of them back in, the other is bent and not fixable. The boots are still functional but was disappointed that they immediately broke right out of the box. However, the seller was very responsive and contacted me to offer a refund for the defect. Despite the issue with this product I would definitely consider ordering from this seller again due to their excellent customer service.
