The machine arrived within 3 days of ordering (ordered on Sunday, delivered in person by Wednesday). It arrived in good condition, without any dents or damages to the packaging or to the machine. I've only had the machine for a couple days and I've only done two loads so far on it. The first time, I made the mistake of setting it to Normal, Cold Temp, Large Load, which automatically started a 2 hour (!!!) program with an 86 minute spin cycle (!!!). Per the user manual, this exceptionally long spin cycle is supposed to get your clothes as dry as possible to reduce drying time in a dryer. Since we are just hang drying the clothes, this was excessive. For the next load, I figured out that I could just put it on Normal, Warm Temp, Large Load, but just run cold tap water from the sink, and it will do the normal wash, rinse, and spin times, for a total of about 34 minutes, which is much more reasonable than 2 hours. After watching some tutorials, I learned to make sure the drain hose is draining into the sink because of the minimum height requirement, and not into a lower height (i.e. tub), so that the pump would work properly. As a result, the drainage worked perfectly, without any leaks. I also ensured that we did not overload the machine, and loosely tossed in around 3/4 drum's worth of clothes. We also only used 2 tablespoons of HE liquid detergent, as measured by an actual tablespoon for baking, but I'm wondering if we could've used even less. For 2x HE detergents, I read that you can just use 2 teaspoons per load. We do not use fabric softener or fragrances. The machine works as intended, and the clothes came out very clean, and dry enough that we could hang dry our clothes on a drying rack without drips. The machine is also very quiet, and the spin cycle is also very subdued. I live in an apartment building where a third of the laundromat machines are consistently out of service, and where residents do not take care of the laundry facilities, and also where residents often neglect to set a timer to remove their clothes on a regular basis, causing other residents to have to wait for a free machine amongst the remaining working machines, or force them to perform the unpleasant task of removing someone else's wet clothes and piling them elsewhere. As you can imagine, it gets crazy on Fridays and weekends, and also - it's expensive at around $2.50 a load for washing, and another $2.50 for drying. One thing I did have to order additionally, was a mobile roller base. This machine is very hard to move because you have to tilt it back to get it to lean on the plastic wheels, and it's heavy and unwieldy. So, if you need to move this machine for it to reach the sink and outlets, get a roller base. Either way, a roller base will allow you to easily move the machine out of the way to clean under and around it. It's 100% a must. So far, we are really excited about this machine and hope it will last, and I'll come back to update my review in a few months.
