FAQ
Q1: What devices can the Explorer 300 power?
A: The Explorer 300 can charge/power devices that operate at less than 300 watts and the total wattage of all connected devices should also be under 300 watts as well. If the power requirement exceeds this limit, the Explorer 300 will automatically shut off. Please check your device's specifications before making a purchase.
Q2: How can I know the working time for my device?
A: You can calculate the working time using the formula: Working time = 300Wh*0.85/operating power of your device. For example, if the power consumption of your device is 60W, the estimated working time would be approximately 4.3 hours. Please note that actual power consumption may vary based on different usage scenarios.
Q3: How long does it take to fully charge the Explorer 300 power station?
The Explorer 300 can be fully charged in approximately 4 hours via AC wall outlet. Alternatively, you have two other recharge options: around 4.5 hours from a car port and around 5.5 hours from a Jackery SolarSaga 100W solar panel (sold separately).
Q4: Can the Explorer 300 be charged while in use?
A: Yes, you can use the Explorer 300 to charge devices while it is being recharged at the same time.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2020Style: E300Verified PurchaseI'd have to say. This thing is being used a lot more than I intended. From camping trips to daily use at work. I am a construction worker(electrician) . So often times, believe it or not. We work with no electricity. Since we turn everything off to be safe. So this little thing can power anything from a portable clip on lamps to a small fan to help light up and cool down hot electric rooms. The job I am on right now is a ground up job. Meaning it's nothing but dirt. All the old power we ripped out. So the only power on site are the spider boxes(corded power) connected to the utility. They're not convenient what so ever. These boxes are left in certain areas 100+ feet from each other. Rather than pull 200-300 feet worth of extension cords just to power up something small. I can use this power station. And if you're a construction worker. You know some knuckle head is going to unplug your cord to plug theirs in. Now you have to hike 100 yards to go plug it back in. I use this to charge stuff daily like my radio and head lamp at the end of the day. Saves me from hauling my tool cart which is a solid 80 pounds over ruff terrain just to get to a power box. And with only 1 microwave for 20 guys at 2 minutes each. It's almost pointless in waiting to heat up your food. So this little jackery is wonderful. I can plug in my 12v food warmer and get nice hot food prior to start of lunch.!!!! I am able to charge my ear buds daily. The solar charger would be real useful where I'm at now but that'll be for another day and I will update my review if I ever get it. For the price of this unit and how convenient it makes my daily life. I think it's well worth it. Kinda wishing now that I would've spent the money on a bigger unit so I can power certain corded power tools. But that was never my intentions . Definately a game changer and I'll probably never use my portable power bank I built out of a deep cycle battery and inverter ever again. That thing weighs 75lbs. This baby is maybe 5 lbs. I forgot to mention how much my wife loves this as well. She is able to pump (breast milk) anywhere anytime. We camp often. And rather then running the car and pumping for 30 minutes. She can pump right by the lake. All while watching the kids!!!!! I see myself upgrading in the near future.
Attached are a few photos of my food warmer set up under my took cart. A photo of my job site so you have an idea of how much distance I have to go without power and how much of a life saver this is. And some voltage readings. The volt reading is well withing range for 120v electronic. I had an inverter recently that I my have me 120v. Your house sockets normally I my gets you 116 give or take 1 or 2 volts.

Final thoughts:
The Jackery Explorer 300 is a robust piece of kit to own for your camper van / RV, vehicle of choice for tailgating, carry in your backpack for hiking, or store on a shelf at home for emergency preparedness in a grid down scenario. Despite the few shortcomings of the unit that could be addressed by Jackery in future revisions of their power stations, the advantages this lightweight and compact power station offers make it completely a worthwhile investment and I am quite happy with my purchase! I plan to use the Explorer 300 in my 2017 Ram ProMaster City camper van on a daily basis in conjunction with my Jackery Explorer 500 and my Jackery Solar Saga 60 solar panel. I hope to purchase a Jackery Solar Saga 100 solar panel one of these days to perform additional testing with the Explorer 300. I rate the Jackery Explorer 300 a 4.5 / 5 Stars (9/10) rating here on Amazon and I highly recommend purchase of this product should you find yourself wanting or needing off-grid power for whatever reasons you may have. You will not be disappointed. Jackery will guarantee it.

We have larger items like this that are too heavy to move about from one fan to another. This is only 7 and a half pounds and tested well for running the fan in the wood burning stove we use to heat the house when the power is out.
It's not too heavy and handy for charging LED emergency lights and cellphones. It's perfect for powering fans and recharging. A great emergency must have item.

5.0 out of 5 stars Holds charge for months.
Style: E300Verified PurchaseThis is a great unit. I have tested it to recharge my phone and run a TV/Computer system. Worked great and really simple to use once I found that the plugs have their own on buttons. This could keep my phone charged for a month, and run my TV/Computer for over 3 hours. The small LCD screen is very helpful to tell you how much power is being drawn ( in watts) and how much is left (in % of the 300 Wh total). Easy to charge. A must for a cottage. More reliable than the generator, but obviously not as much power storage. Good for basic electronics in 1 or 2 day power outages (typical cottage events).

5.0 out of 5 stars Very decent. Wholly recommend.
Style: E300Verified PurchaseThis thing is awesome. I’m tired of messing around with 20,000 mA battery packs. They always charge so slowly and I’m always running around plugging them in to keep them full (as any battery is useless when it’s drained).
Not only does this thing have so much battery capacity in it, it charges so fast from the included wall charger. Got a USB-C charger for a laptop? Plug it in, double it up with the wall charger and charge ever faster.
Rapid charging that fast is hard on any battery so I only use this feature if I really needed it quickly. Otherwise I just trickle charge it overnight from a regular USB phone cord.
I have two 40 watt solar panels that I have with a cigarette lighter port at one end so I can charge it up solar. The 12 V charger adaptor comes with this thing. It charges decently fast with solar.
The inverter is a little bit on the small side but it’ll power most regular things. If you’re thinking about this for an emergency, it’s not going to power a kettle for a fridge or toaster for that matter. It’ll power a CPAP machine and I found it powers a tiny personal slow cooker that I have.
To sum it up, I wholly recommend this thing. If your energy requirements are at a minimum and, you’re using this for recreation and not emergency use, this Jackery will fit the bill. This is a good starter system to get your toes wet in solar power stations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality
Style: E300Verified PurchaseThis unit charges my phone and IPad very fast. It also doesn’t drain the unit by much. Easy to carry handle is so convenient. I feel it’s a wise investment now that the weather is changing. I like how you can purchase solar panels to charge it while off grid. Highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far, so good!
Style: E300Verified PurchaseWe live in a rural area and often lose power in heavy rain, snow or wind and it never fails that our phones are under 50%, no power banks are charged or a laptop is about to run out of juice and a school project is due the next day. We purchased this in hopes that we can solve these inconveniences during a power outage, and also use it while camping (fingers crossed). It is pretty lightweight and easy to carry, looks durable and I've heard great things about this brand.
