Easy to use and good quality
This is a good multimeter. It works as good as more expensive ones that I own and seems to give an accurate voltage reading when I tested it on the car battery alongside my main one.I ordered this to keep in the boot of my car. You never when one will come in handy, whether for a 12v application or 240v around the home or office.This comes pre-installed with a 9v battery and has an auto off facility, which saves battery power. I'm terrible for leaving multimeters switched on.There's a nice set of of probes included, with standard connectors in the multimeter. I like that there's also an optional set of crocodile clips included.The contactless voltage detector is a nice addition with this. As my video shows, this will detect most power sources, whether 240v, 12v or 5v usb.Overall, I'm impressed. I've given this 4 stars, but it's more like 4.5. The only 2 minor issues are the lack of a storage case to keep everything in and the fact that the backlight switches off after a short period of time.

I reckon Neoteck have got this one just right with their Auto range multimeter. I have been using the same multimeter for quite a number of years, not a bad device but this offering from Neoteck will definitely now be my go to meter of choice. Apart from anything else, it’s half the size of my previous meter. The multimeter will arrive with the required 9V battery already installed and ready to go.
Easy To Use Auto Range Multimeter And Mains Tester Pen

There’s a whole gamut of functions with this meter, whether it be testing AC or DC voltage, resistance, continuity, capacitance, frequency and current. To make testing just that little bit easier, the kit includes two types of testing leads, the traditional pointed ones and a set of crocodile clips which should cover all eventualities. The meter does have a backlight which is accessible by pressing and holding down the ‘Hold’ button for 2 seconds. However, it doesn’t stay on for long.
For those who may be unfamiliar with these meters I have attached a .jpg image explaining the different functions although there is a small 12 page manual included in the package which will guide you through the process.
Also included is a non-contact AC voltage testing unit. This is a small pen like instrument which has an operating range of between 12V and 1000V. During a quick test it appeared to react quickly and accurately when tested in the vicinity of any mains wiring.
In summary, this is a great quality, accurate multimeter which ticks all the right boxes. I would have preferred a longer duration of time before the backlight auto switched off but that in no way detracts from the functionality of the meter. Well recommended At This Great Price.

I am currently doing all electrics in my newly converted campervan.
I had a basic meter, but it was somewhat temperamental and I didn't always trust its readings were correct.
I ordered this digital multimeter with contact less voltage tester.
I was right about my old meter, the readings were out.
I am very happy with this test kit. It came with two sets of cables - one with regular probes and one with alligator clips. This makes my job so much easier in harder to reach places.
It has a clear, easy to read screen and also there is a backlight feature, very handy in darker places.
I like that it has a rubberised protective cover as I have dropped it a couple of times already, luckily not too hight and it survived with no problems.
The non-contact voltage tester pen is also proving to be useful to quickly check for Live wires.
Overall I am very happy with this set, definitely worth having as it is very useful - recommended.
