- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 August 2023Generic design, bought this particular one as have had several tools from KATSU brand and been happy with them all. Easy to operate. The compact design means that the short lever and barrel only moves up a little way per stroke - this is fine around the workshop/yard, but if i were using on a vehicle at roadside i would find it frustratingly slow. Size over speed. Good value for money whatever.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 December 2023I bought this for around the farm and I've rarely used it I have found when valve is closed tight it doesn't hold the lifting pressure and slowly retracts back into the cyclinder
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 November 2024Absolutely what it should be. Happy with the purchase. Lift up my Luton van 3.5t without any problem every time I need and still works as it should after more than 1y. Thanks!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 January 2023Was bought on behalf of my 85 year old father for a project he was working on to make a wood cutting press he was very pleased with it looked like a good well be built jack
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 March 2024Ideal item for my needs and at a good price
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 December 2022Currently being used to straighten a tree, so will spend its life outside.
After a week there’s no rust on painted surfaces. (Have covered the ram as bare metal)
And even under full load it doesn’t creep down over a 24hr period.
Works for me. 👍🏻
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 February 2019It's not bad for the price. It's very heavy. To me that means quality.
I thought about buying another one. The only real problem is that it is very slow.
It takes a lot of pumps to get it fully extended. It raises up about 3 or 4mm per pump.
I haven't counted how many times I have had to pump it to extend it. Probably 30 or so.
It does lift my Range Rover. It doesn't go down until you undo the valve. It held up 3 tons all night. 12 hours or longer. It didn't lower at all. Don't worry, there were stands too.
It would be better if it had a wider top. It is a small area to sit 10 tons on. A lot of force on one place.
I think that I'll make something to sit on top of it. A cup shape twice as wide.
It came in handy. It went in a small gap and it lifted. I wouldn't use it unless I had to but it did do the job.
The hinges are firm. Not slopping about all over. The two part bar is a pain. They made it slot together. Probably to save room in your boot. But, it's far too heavy to carry in your car. You wouldn't want that dead weight.
The valve works fine. Just nip it and that's it. No need to lick it off very tight, like on some.
The pole fits snug. Easy movement with no slop. One end of the pole fits the valve nicely. Even with an oil covered glove I can twist enough to lock and unlock the valve.
It would have been nice to have a bit of nurling on the handle for grip, but as I said, it's OK.
For the price, it's not bad at all. Better than I expected.
I nearly forgot. The screw thread is good. A course thread. Nice and smooth. Very easy and quick to adjust the hight.
It's a good jack for someone on a bugget.
It's not the best. Not by a long way. But, it's solid and it does work well. Better than a cheap scissor jack, to be sure.
Best wishes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Buen funcionamiento y robusto.

4.0 out of 5 stars cric bouteille 10 tonnes katsu bien mais....
