Cost more than the other dozen or so soldering irons I have had put together, but worth it in my opinion.
Very fast heat up and recovery time, and very accurate temperature control. The heating element is in the tip itself, not the iron, resulting in the very high performance. Additional features include selectable sleep times to increase tip life, temperature offsets if you require very precise temperature and others. I'm very pleased. Very well made too, Japanese quality.
