The dock arrived broken, the power socket seems loose inside the dock. But even if the socket were attached properly inside the dock, it’d be no use as the wrong power supply was provided.And if the socket were attached, and the correct power supply provided, then the loose screw rattling around inside the dock sould immediatly cause it to short-circuit.All-in-all a completely unusable item, a complete waste of time and money. Will be returning and won’t be buying from this seller again. Very poor show, “Refreshed by us” and Amazon Refurbished.

    Rather than spending over £100 on a brand new dock for my Samsung S23 Ultra I thought I'd try this refurbished version. Value for money is spot on if the device does what you need it to.

    This dock definately does the trick for me. I needed something to link into a 32 inch screen along with having the ability to transform my S23 Ultra into a desktop using Samsung's DEX software.

    This dock was spot on as it linked my Corsair keyboard and mouse to my phone via the dock along with connecting my Samung UHD 32 inch screen to the phone via the docks pre-attached USB C cable.

    This is a temp laptop solution whilst I'm saving to buy a new gaming laptop and I needed something that allowed me to study without the stress of writing essay questions out on my phone keyboard.

    Well worth considering the refurb purchase - value for money and does exactly what it is supposed to do.

    As an IT professional I've tried countless different laptop docks over the years for my users. The cost of an official docking station significantly increases the cost of equipment for individual users so I've given lots of third party options (won't name here) in an effort to bring spend down.

    Unfortunately all the other options have drawbacks, from having to install additional software to not charging the device while connected they never seem to do the job just right.

    This option seems to be the best tradeoff. The official Dell docks just work, plug and play and will keep the device charged over USB-C (if the laptop supports it). Buying renewed keeps the cost down as much as possible.

    To be honest I wouldn't have known this wasn't new when it arrived, and with no moving parts to go wrong I'll continue to purchase them this way going forward.

    Although refurbished I genuinely couldn't tell. It seems new. Came quick and was easy to install. I had issue with the HDMI working and this seems to be a WD15 issue if your monitor is over 1080p resolution. I bought a cheap Display Port cable and now it works perfectly. It's great to just plug one cable in.

    The reason I went for this particular dock was the variety of IO available. I wanted to maintain the ability to use a separate speaker system, and this has a 3.5 mm jack. Honestly, I could go on naming each individual port, but suffice it to say it works for all my accessory needs and powering my laptop while still being compact. The seller refurbished the unit just fine. I've been using it for months without issue. If I need more accessories, I'll come back to this seller.
