I was a little reticent ordering this having scanned a number of negative reports. I can't comment on the adhesion, because I see no need to utilise it (if you don't unravel the lead, you don't need the adhesive sticker). However, I do not understand allegations of not fitting. Its a standard plug size for goodness sake! I have in the space of one week used it for the dual purpose of satnav and android phone. It fitted snugly and robustly in four vehicles; Iveco minibus, Mercedes Sprinter minibus, Peugeot MPV and Hyundai i20. It held all connections quite firmly without unnecessary force.
Given its competitive price, its ease of use and its sturdiness I would say this was well found. An excellent adaptor.

I use this a lot when I need to use both the sat nav and the mirror dash cam. It powers both without overheating the cigarette lighter socket and has a good connection to the in-car socket, only rarely did I need to reinsert it to make a connection.

When camping it not only powers the dash cam but also an inverter to charge up a 20-amp battery that I use as a power pack. I also use it for charging a smart phone and a multitude of devices that are charged by a USB port.

The cable is thick to take a heavy current. The two USB ports are also very useful in effect it two devices in one. Overall, a good quality, well made, value for money, piece of kit that I have used for 2 years with no problems.

Mine has just arrived and while I haven't tested it yet, it's nice and small, has a nice chunky high current cable on it and appears to be sturdy and well built.

My only issue so far is that the description of the product mentions the following:

What I feel it does not make clear is what is written in the product description that comes in the box:

"Dual USB Output : 5VDC/21.A(in all)"

The "in all" part means that you cannot power an 2.1A device such as an iPad at full power AND a phone on the 1A port at the same time. I don't see this as an issue in my case (as I also bought two twin flush mount 2.1A/1A cigar lighter adapters to make it a 6 way charger!) but I think it's important that the description makes this clear. Furthermore, I'm not sure what happens if you were to plug a 2.1A and a 1A device in at the same time. Does each get 1A or does it overheat?!

Please update the description to something along the lines of the in-box description to avoid misleading buyers:

This thing isn't pretty by any means and when it arrived in the post I thought for sure it was going to be junk but when I put it in my car I was amazed at how well it works. It's been going strong for months, and even with the pirate radio stations I'm usually able to find a clear frequency. It's been a life saver for me as all I need do is load my mobile up with music then plug it right in, especially good on road trips too. The connectors are all sturdy and well made considering the price. The light is probably unnecessary but it's inoffensive. This did take a very long time to arrive as I recall so maybe prepare for that.

The product works as described. It fits fine in my cigarette lighter and requires no 'fiddling'.
I've tried all the ports and a couple simultaneously.
The wire between the device and the lighter adapter is quite substantial, looks about the same diameter as a regular 13A cable you'd use for the mains. There's quite a bit of length to it, which is great and will probably reduce any need to have the cable go round sharp corners that will lead to wear and breaks through 'creasing'.
As far as I know, there is currently nothing wrong with the product.
If anything comes up, I'll be back!

The only small thing is whether it really needs to light up when plugged in.
It's not very bright and not distracting, but is it really necessary?

I get a lot of hire cars, and they all have the 12v socket in different places. I also need to use a satnav and I take a coolbox, so a multi 12v socket is essential to me. Sometimes the socket is in an awkward place, I have a number of these adapters, mostly on the cheaper side, and invariably let me down. I have had them melt, but most often will not hold themselves securely in the socket.
I got this one because I needed one with an extended cable. This one has a good length. Sometimes I will have a coolbox and a freezer but I have only tested this so far with a smaller coolbox and a satnav. No sign of any overheating, just plugged it in and left it. Over a six week period it has worked impeccably. Why haven't I given it five stars? Well, I will update this when I have tested it to the full power it claims to be able to deliver and also the usb outputs. For now, it definitely qualifies for the 4 stars I have given.
