Being in "the business" for over 30 years, I have owned countless drop lights in that time. I've seen drop lights evolve from the classic metal caged "arm burners" to the current multi LED cordless ones on the market now.
I hired a guy recently who had one of these ATD lights. At the time I had 2 ROGO Stubby II retractables and a couple of EZ Red cordless lights. I had been favoring the EZ Reds recently but found that they did not hold up to the daily abuse of a proffesional shop atmosphere. After 2 months of knocking the heck out of my employees ATD light, I purchsed one for myself and am thrilled with it. A couple of standout features are the magnetic base which is convienent for placing the light in various positions under the hood, the swivel hook on top for the same reason, but I think the best feature of this light is its ability to both bend and swivel. It basically iliminates that frustration of trying to get the klight right where you need it and having it stay there!! The light is plenty bright and I plug it in every night and have no problem using it throughout the day for various jobs etc. Well done on this one ATD!!!
