Floor size significantly smaller than headroom but Instant Tent technology is AMAZING
First let me say that if this is your first tent then you will love it! The Instant Tent technology is amazing and the two of us easily put it up in a few minutes. The tent has a large footprint and the screen room is a real plus. For those reasons I give it 3 starts. Unfortunately for us, we were disappointed at the slope of the walls. I realize that this is not sold as a "straight wall" tent but these walls are far more sloped than my last regular tent we had for 11 years. You can see from the pics that the sloping of the walls bring down the actual walkable space in the tent to 6' X 14' (you lose 2 feet all around). Yes, you can store items in the perimeter floor space but we need all 10 feet to walk around our king bed which is why we upgraded to this size.I did a ton of research before hitting the buy button and I REALLY wanted to love this tent. Besides the size, we feel the quality of the workmanship and the materials was a bit subpar. Compared to other tents we have owned these walls and floor feel quite thin. Like others have mentioned in reviews, I fear the stress on the seams from the instant tent technology will pull them apart in no time. Also mentioned in a video review I watched, the zipper at the bottom of the screen room is poor design. There is no way to open the door with one hand since you need the other hand to provide tension on the bottom of the tent. Yes, you can put both feet on either side of the tent to hold it down but it's not convenient when you're hold camping gear in one hand and want a quick entry. I also added a few pics to support the subpar workmanship claim that wouldn't quite matter to some people but for $350 I notice things like this--shredded zipper pull and uneven zippers sewn into doors. As I mentioned, if this is your first tent and you're not picky you will love the tent. If you're really looking for the large headroom as well as floor space then go for a straight wall tent or a different brand whose walls are straighter. This purchase offered free returns within 30 days (thank you, Core!) so we returned it and opted for the Coleman Prairie Breeze which has super straight walls. Last mention, if you buy the tent make sure that when you pull the tent out for the first time you reach inside of the folded area which is the underside of the tent--that is where the stakes and curtain are stored. This was not obvious at all and after we put the tent up we could not find the stakes and had to buy some at Walmart to stake it down. We found them at tear down in the middle of the tent underneath--we thought it was a root on the site. Good luck with your decision.

Fast & Spacious Tent! Easy up. Easy Down. Best to set it up with 2 people. Maybe you could do it with 1 person, but I found it difficult to do alone because of the size. Well-built. Use a separate footprint because the floor is not any thicker than other tents. We fit a queen and 4 twin air matresses and a narrow cushion for our Great Dane in this tent and 2 camp chairs. The rainfly is easy! It rained a lot camping in Florida in July, and we had no problems with water. I like the placement of the storage compartments, the ventilation, the power cord opening, the colors, the open screen ceiling, the zippers, the doors, the fast easy-to-lengthen supports really set it apart from other tents. That's what makes it go up so fast. It's not tedious in any way. I agree with other reviews in that you probably want to get better, easier stakes because the stakes that come with it bend easily and slip easily--adequate in the best weather and soil conditions. The storage bag is roomy. There's no covered front porch area to help keep dirt out, so I need to find a solution for that problem.

4 stars for the tent, +1 for Core customer service.

Pros: lots of room, easy set up and take down, excellent Core customer service and warranty
Cons: some water leaked through (maybe a defect in ours, made right by Core customer service), door zipper snags sometimes, floor is fairly thin (we used a folded heavy duty tarp as a footprint/ground cover).

Overall this is a fantastic family tent for summer camping on soft ground. We took ours on a 5-night camping trip and it was great. We fit 1 queen and 3 twin airbeds with the queen on one side and the 3 twins on the other side of the room divider. Very comfortable set up.

We had about 24 hours of off-and-on rain and a manufacturing defect near the floor allowed for a little water to get in, as well as at each of the corner pockets, the contents of which got soaked. We called Core and their customer service was fantastic in making it right, offering a replacement tent at no cost (not just a patch kit). I wouldn't hesitate buying from Core.

This tent was replacing a similar type of tent that we have had for years. The ease of setup & take down is amazing. The tent has been used for a 4 day weekend trip and performed perfectly. So much room inside for our king size air mattress and other stuff. Plan to use the tent a lot in the years to come. Will update the progress over the coming year

I love that there are 2 entrances. Works great. Only requires one adult to setup and tear down. Setup is pretty fast. I am completely sold on "instant" tent, rather than managing so many poles and slipping poles through sleeves, this tent is so much more convenient. I have not been around moisture or rain, so I cannot speak to that.

For a family with young kids, having a tent that is roomy, comfortable, easy to set up, and is stress-free is a huge priority to us.

However, we live in Central Nebraska where it is exceptionally windy at times. The unique joint system of this tent that makes it quick to set up and free of separate rods the way other tents are comes with a major drawback. The joints collapse when it is windy.

I really want this tent to work for us, but I may have to return it if we cannot figure out a workaround to make the joints lock or become more stable in the wind. For that reason, I gave it three stars for durability in weather.

That’s good, the design really is brilliant and would be perfect for the majority of people who do not experience Highwinds like we do in our part of the country. Not having 1 million different pieces that you have to locate and put together is genius! This tent would be amazing for most everybody!

I would say if you are someone who wants to camp through all types of weather including storms and wind, this is probably not the tent for you.

Set up was very easy. Be sure to stretch the base out when you stake the floor. Also, buy after market large steel stakes. I went through a severe thunderstorm in this tent (40+Mph winds) and the tent almost made it without water getting in. I forgot to stake the rainfly cords on the center front and rear. Those are the most important. Once the wind got Under the rainfly we were toast and had to abandon the tent. Also I did not have the floor stretched out properly and my rainfly had some of the stock stakes that could not stand the winds. I think the tent would of made it had I properly set it up and had the aftermarket stakes. The tent is made of good material and has a really strong skeleton. It’s perfect for my wife, 2kids and gear. The zippers are great quality and having to entranced is nice.

Three season. I have set up four times now and slept in it for a total of 14 nights . Not for below 40 degrees but or high wind but perfect for spring summer fall.... also went through at least five heavy rains. A few drip in corners . Also floor is larger than ceiling. I thing reasonably two queen sized beds. Love the screened porch . Basically a two bedroom tent with two exits! Easy to put up! Buy good stakes as ones supplied are worthless!
I bought iron stakes and twist stakes fir hard or sandy soil.
