About this item

  • Car Port & Party Canopy: Featuring ample space no matter your needs, our large party tent offers you options. Place it outside as an area for wedding receptions, graduation parties, or a big backyard barbeque. This canopy is versatile and can keep your car safe from the elements, as well as furniture, garden tools, or material for outdoor projects.
  • Cathedral-Style Canopy: Cathedral-style windows let you enjoy natural light with protection from the wind. Open the two zipper doors for quick entry or to simply enjoy the breeze. On hot days, the sidewalls can be taken off to keep this car canopy event or wedding tent as cool as possible.
  • Say Goodbye to Sunburns: Our event tent's canopy is made of polyethylene, keeping UV rays out of your party space. The stylized windows provide ample lighting but stop the sun from being an eyesore. Is the glare still too much to bear? Make use of the zip-two entrances to secure against the sun.
  • Outdoor Ready: This outdoor tent holds up to wear and tear with a frame made of galvanized steel, making its poles difficult to warp. It also includes ropes and ground stakes to mount it to soft ground such as grass, dirt, or sand.
  • Outdoor Carport & Party Tent Info: Overall Dimensions: 383.75" L x 193" W x 118" H. Eaves Height: 78.75" H. Note: We advise customers never to leave it up overnight or in bad weather. This requires 4-6 people to assemble. Measure your site before buying.

Bought 3 for backyard party

Bought 3 for backyard party
Was expecting rain for a planned bday party and couldn't take a chance so I bought 3 tents and they worked great! Took two of us about 1.5 hours to set up each tent, and I took the tents down by myself. The tents covered my whole bocce court and at night the tents looked amazing when I strung led lights inside. So glad I bought these tents instead of renting, now I can use them for future events. The top is not really a canvas, but more like a tarp, but held up really well because the next day we had 4 inches of rain and high winds. Bought tent water bags that strap around legs for weight. Frame is very durable.

I will say it’s very nice to look at and not bad to put together but when the weathers bad the whole thing will collapse. if you put it inside a building it would be fine but don’t put it out in the weather if the wind blows at all. The stitching is terrible, plus when we told them we would like our money back the snotty (B) in the office was horrible to deal with and called my wife names. Then we tried to get Amazon to help us out and when OutSunny found out what we did they told us to stick it up our you know what. And this is the truth, very unsatisfied customer. The plus side is I’ve got tarps forever & I can regain a small amount to scrap the iron.

Great , sturdy. Takes some time to put together because they don’t just slide in , they have to be bolted together. Walls and tarps are thick, good quality. Tarps are easy to attach.

Based on the reviews I read, I was surprised that 2 of us could put it up in less than 2 hours and I took it down by myself in a little over 1 hour. Directions were sparse, but if you planned out your sequence in advance there was little wasted time. The guide lines were totally inadequate, but replacing them with 5/16" anchor line and 12" tent stakes produced a very stable structure that would withstand significant stress. The attachment of the Velcro strips to the side and end pieces needs to be upgraded as the stitching will not withstand much stress. I plan on taking these pieces to a local tent company and have these strip attachments reinforced to better withstand wind. The shipping boxes will have to be replaced with canvas bags for storage as they barely made it to my place in tact. As a design engineer, there are some changes I would recommend to improve the strength of the structure, but for the price, it is a very good value.

So this was cheaper than renting a tent for a party I wanted to host.

    Before you buy ask yourself:
Are you willing to spend the time putting up and packing up the tent on the same day. You should ideally have four people that are relatively strong and helpful.
I say the same day because it should not be left out in rain or windy conditions. It is not meant to be put up for long periods of time.

If you are hosting a party and tired at the end of the day your not going to want to spend a few hours taking it down and storing it.

We used a bunch of zip ties to store the poles and a sharpie marker to label each part as some of the stickers fell off. We also used three large Rubbermaid style totes for the canvas, clips, connectors.

It’s a lot of work and I will be honest it did fall down on one occasion and my husband had to repair it and buy new parts etc. we also had some grommets that arrived ripped. He is handy and fixed those.

All that being said we are happy with the purchase. We read the previous reviews and expected this to be a one day use item. We have used it for three events now and everyone loves the tent. I do wish they offered replacement parts but as others have said , buying fence post is sturdier.

I was disappointed that some photos show the pipes white, mine are all galvanized metal in appearance.

16x32' takes awhile to assemble by yourself (each piece of frame tube is individually wrapped, so just unpackaging takes awhile), but it goes together easy and sturdy. All the metal framing has built in quick connect snap pins and holes. The canvas is light but strong. Has the bungy ties to tie all the canvas pieces to the framing. Because I'm in the country, I would recommend getting 12 larger corkscrew stakes and straps attached to each upper frame joint to keep it secure under wind. Only had it up for 2 weeks, I might update this review after using it for a season.
