Warning for Large Hands!!
I really wanted to like this mouse, but, unfortunately, the buttons near the thumb are too close together and my thumb constantly clicks them by mistake when I'd reach for the mouse. This became especially annoying after I kept losing data entered into a web page - one of those buttons causes the browser to go "back". Sometimes when i'd go back forward again, all the data I had typed into the webpage was GONE!!I am just over 6 foot tall and I have, relatively, large hands. You can see in the attached photos how close those buttons are to my resting thumb.Other than that - the mouse is a really nice ergonomic mouse.

I purchased this mouse because I have carpal tunnel and after reading the feedback on this mouse, I decided to try it. I have used the mouse for about 3 weeks and the pain from the carpal tunnel has disappeared. The J-Tech is very comfortable in the hand and the buttons are placed very well. I have not removed the wrist pad because it works great on the mouse. The scroll button works smoothly and can be operated without changing the position of the hand on the mouse. The position of the forward and back buttons are set so that I do not accidentally hit them while moving the mouse. The only con seems to be that the DPI switch does not work, other wise I am very satisfied with the operation of the J-Tech mouse. It is a very good buy for the price and I recommend it to others.

I spend 8+ hours on the computer every day at work and this is a great vertical mouse that really helped reduce the pain I was feeling in my wrist. I was previously using the Anker Ergonomic Wireless Vertical Mouse but found that my wrist pain eventually returned. What I like about this mouse is that it provides a steeper angle than most other ergonomic mice and it is about as close to actually being vertical without becoming a joystick as you can get. It also lets you keep your hand/wrist in a more natural resting position than most other mice which are still based of the traditional mouse design. The forward and back buttons on the thumb-side of the mouse are more easily accessible too, and they really cut down on the amount of movement you need to navigate a web page. The palm rest is another great feature that prevents your hand from getting irritated after prolonged use. This makes it easier to use your elbow to move the mouse instead of you wrist since your hand would otherwise be rubbing against your mouse pad every time you moved the mouse.

Some cons:
The mouse does have some signalling issues. If I have the receiver plugged into a port on the back of my computer tower the cursor will eventually start to skip around the screen. This is easily fixed by moving the receiver to the front of my tower, so it may be an issue of range. I've never had any issues with this mouse on a laptop, possibly because the mouse is much closer to the receiver in that case.

Overall, this is a great mouse for the price and I'd highly recommend it.

Have tried 3 ergonomic mice before, and this is my favorite. The angle of the grip is great and relieves pain, yet is not so steep as to make the mouse impossible to use. This mouse is bulkier than other ergonomic mice and has an unconventional shape, but I like it much better than the dozens of models that look and feel alike. The thumb buttons are great, and are located above and below the thumb - this arrangement involves me actually using them - unlike other mice. The quality of the plastic and weight of the mouse are high quality and a pleasent surprise, given that most ergonomic products feel like they were made out of the cheapest materials possible.

As with any new ergonomic form factor, it will take a while to get used to it, and in some ways any ergonomic mouse will be slightly more difficult to be accurate with given that ergonomic positions of the arm and hand rely on the wrist rather than the fine motor skills of the fingers. The included bottom pad accessory is a nice bonus that help you reduce drag and friction on the outer side of your palm.

The wireless receiver worked without drivers (on my mac), and the thumb buttons don't do much unless you install a utility like USB Overdrive - but once you do, the buttons are useful. Comes with batteries! Yay!

I purchased this product because I was experiencing pain in my wrist that I attributed to repetitive strain from traditional mouse use. The
J-Tech Digital Scroll Endurance Wireless Mouse is comfortable to hold and the L and R mouse buttons are well placed. It worked right out of the box with my MacBook Pro running macOS Sierra and my work Macintosh mini running Mac OS X 10.6.8. I find it's a little harder to control since you move your whole arm when moving the mouse rather than moving your wrist like you do when maneuvering a traditional mouse. I believe my wrist pain has been reduced on account of using this mouse. Can't quite give it five stars because I find that when switching to typing on the keyboard, I have a tendency to brush the J-Tech mouse out of the way, thus pushing the mouse pointer to the upper right corner of my screen which activates my screen saver. This could be prevented by changing my screen saver settings, which I haven't done. Also, although the hand position is somewhat vertical, it's not totally vertical, which I think would further reduce strain, although it might make controlling the mouse more difficult. Additionally, the extra buttons by the thumb have no settings I can change as to what they control. One invokes Mission Control in macOS, but the other seemingly does nothing. One final niggle--I wish it was Bluetooth and not WiFi, although I do appreciate the handy travel slot for inserting the dongle when I have to transport it somewhere. All in all, recommended.

When my very old mouse bit it, I decided to look for an ergonomic option. I was intrigued by the design of this mouse and the reviews were solid, so I gave it a go, a little worried about adjusting to the vertical orientation.

Well, it took me maybe an hour to get used to it, if that. The mouse works well but best of all? I can use it for hours on end with no wrist pain! After working on the computer during the day, I often play an online game with my husband in the evening. We always limited that time to about an hour because anything more than that and my wrist would hurt. I've played two or three times longer than that with this mouse and not even noticed the time!

It's comfortable to use (once you adjust to it), has a solid feel to it, and just works. Very happy with this purchase. Thanks, J-Tech!

Weight wise.. it is light, would have preferred it to be a bit heavier.

Grasping Wise, wow..... I can hold on to it for ages, its like my palm wraps around it real well.

Con: With a traditional mouse, the wrist sits on the desk behind the mouse, I move my wrist more to move the cursor.
With the JTD, I find myself moving the mouse with my fingers (kind of like a skinny helicopter joystick, so sensitive!) and my arm, ensuring very little movement in the wrist, well its somewhat difficult using the wrist because its on its side.

DPI can get a bit fiddly, theres only 3 settings, very little difference between modes, maybe I'm doing something wrong?

When working on something that required precision, I found it difficult to get the exact cursor movement, I.e. i design reports as part of my job, which means i'm moving text, images placements around, i found this task easier with the traditional mouse.

EDIT : 2 months later.... the mouse has developed intermittent unresponsive issues. Every 5 - 10 seconds of use, the mouse becomes un-responsive. You have to wait for it to become alive again. Switching back to manual for now.

Have contacted JTD Direct, awaiting reply.

They replaced it, wow.

A mi me resulta comodísimo.

5.0 out of 5 stars JTD Mouse verticale senza fili (senza LED)
Reviewed in Italy on October 21, 2018

5.0 out of 5 stars Im Büro zu Hause
Reviewed in Germany on June 12, 2018
