This is a pretty good pump and it is powerful. It will shoot water several feet, though I use it on a setting at about 6-12 inches because mine is in a barrel planter with water plants. I would have liked if they had an extension tube included. I had to put a few bricks under it to get the proper height but it works and seems to be reliable so far. I have only been running it about a week or so. It is very quiet. I really do not notice the pump sound at all over the sound of bubbling water. I would recommend for the price but I do think a 3 or 6 inch extension tube would be a good thing to include in the package.
