This was recommended to me by pups vet. I was told to lean them off bones as they are getting there in years and to try this as they are both big on chewing.
Both my dogs love them. I don't know if it's a texture thing for them or if it simply tastes good to them. I can confirm that it doesn't smell horrible. Normally a dental stick doesn't last either of my dogs any time at all. This both functions like a dental stick and a chewing bone. My dogs have no issue digesting the chew. My main worry is how they will react after eating something new, but I can say that they had no issues. It is a bit more money wise than the other types of dental sticks, but they are woth it in the long run.
