Apple charges like $129 for screen repairs. This is $100 cheaper but replacing an iPod screen is a lot harder than an iPad or an iPhone because of how much smaller it is. There’s barely any room to work with and it took me an hour trying to connect the new ribbon cables to the iPod. Not really the products fault. There are some white spots on the right black bezel of my screen that won’t come off and I’m guessing the black paint chipped or something. I thought they were just specs of dust or something when I received it and didn’t bother with it. Also comes with a tempered glass screen protector too. Only complaint is the viewing angles of the replacement compared to the original.
I ordered this screen for our ipod 6 that was dropped down by my son. Replacing the screen took 30-45 minutes thanks to some videos on youtube. It has been working with no issues since then.

Everything works and this screen makes my iPod 5 which had a cracked screen for years look brand new. The tools received are very cheap and will likely get stripped but it’s nice for it to come with a screen protector as well.
