    I usually don't give ratings this low but I have to be honest. I've used mini stair steppers for the past 11 years because I've rented and have needed them for small spaces. I've used many brands and have a good sense of the ones that will last and the ones that will not. This is one of the poorest models I've ever tried.

    First off, if you have wider set hips and/or bigger thighs this is not for you. The steps are so close together, something I've never experienced with a stair stepper, and makes simply walking on it uncomfortable. I've had stair steppers that were too wide apart but never this close together. This may work for you if you have a very slight frame and small to straight hips.

    Second, it move a lot. I tried it for 15 minutes to get a feel for it to see if it's sturdy and I can soundly say it is not unless you are going very slow and steady. I like to work up a sweat so the wobbling does not work for me. The problem is that the bottom of the machine is smaller than the top. I've never had a stair stepper that didn't have a broader base. Additionally the base is made of a hollow cheap plastic that add to the instability. I want to feel safe when I'm on a machine and this did not achieve that.

    Lastly, there are no setting that make the resistance harder to tread. I like the challenge of making my workout harder to accomplish when I have the energy and this only had one resistance level. Another mishap is that it does not lift high off of the ground. Each step is short, not lifting your leg much, and is a very mild workout. It's great if you're looking for something mild, not challenging, and leisurely. This may be perfect for someone elderly or just to nonchalantly use while watching TV, but if it's just for that it is overpriced.

    I am returning for these reasons because there are machines half of the price that are better for my needs. I was really disappointed because this is higher priced compared to a lot of mini steppers and I expected better quality and no hollow plastic. Sunny is a superior brand and I will stick with them.
