    The HC65M v2 can easily snap into a tactical or ballistics helmet with a NVG mounting bracket. Its wide angle beam with five brightness levels provides up close and middle range illumination. You can also swivel the headlamp up and down to easily adjust the beam direction. Its durable metal construction and an IPX8 waterproof rating ensure this headlamp can withstand indoor and outdoor elements and is ready for your next mission!

    Quick and simple mounting. Easily snap the HC65M v2 to any tactical or ballistic helmet with an NVG mount. Push back the pin for a quick release. (NVG ccompatible helmet needed to mount. Regular headlband is not included.)

    This is a high quality helmet light. I prefer high lumens over the standard offering of 100 - 300 lumens. The only flaw I found as mentioned in other reviews is the base has a small amount of movement when secured in the NVG shroud. I just cut (2) 1 inch sections of extremely strong Velcro strip and placed 1 strip within the NVG Shroud and the other to the backside of the light. It locks up securely with no movement. I installed this light on two different brand helmets and originally encountered the same movement. This unit is fairly priced when you consider the quality. Whether performing search and rescue or defensive room clearing, this light is powerful enough to assist in accomplishing your task.The red IR is very bright on the high setting (no problem viewing map in low light settings and the strobe will irritate the eyes. The mode functions are easy to cycle through. I would have given this product a five-star rating if it wasn’t for the minor flaw.

      I purchased this light to mount on a ballistic helmet. The light mounts super easily with no tools to the NVG mount on a ballistic helmet and has 3 settings which provide more than enough adequate light and charges with a micro USBC which is include. My initial concern was turning the unit on and off and rolling through the settings but there is no fumbling about. The only drawback is having to go through all the settings to turn the unit off. Great light for the price.

      Top level light. The brights red night vision light I have seen and the white turbo level is just blinding. If I had to give it any fault it is that it doesn't come with any headband option for wear. It mounts to NVG plate for helmet wear but if not in a helmet doesn't have an elastic band option.
