- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2020This takes place after Dragon Age: Inquisition, and you don't need any of the other Dragon Age comics for reference. It would be ideal to know the lore surrounding the games, but isn't necessary. Art is gorgeous and the plot and characters are compelling. It's a nice blend of high fantasy and dark fantasy.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2018I loved it!! Obviously I think it would be confusing if you haven't played all the games since there is little explanation beyond what's necessary. But, as a long time fan, it was an enjoyable read. The main characters are likeable and Vaea is especially cute. The art is beautiful and overall a short but fun story!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2019It tides me over until DA4 releases.
Also I hope these are my new companions.

5.0 out of 5 stars 10/10 lo vuelvo a leer
La historia está muy buena, el arte también (como de esperarse), y no sé si fue suerte pero el precio también muy bien.
Lo recomiendo

5.0 out of 5 stars Parfait

5.0 out of 5 stars ... how evil humans were and how elves are the perfect race being cruelly mistreated by humans
When I first heard the plot to this story I expect it to be all about how evil humans were and how elves are the perfect race being cruelly mistreated by humans. Instead I got a story about an adorable rogue trying to help those in need without getting involved in politics and a knight that was honourable and fair. I am glad I gave this book a read and hope to see these characters show up in more Dragon Age produces.

5.0 out of 5 stars Much better than its predessesor Magekiller
This story was everything I wanted it to be! Much better than its predessesor Magekiller. The characters were engaging, I could see how they were developed, and by the end of the book I loved them and wanted more of their stories. It's always a pleasure to see Varric, and the overall plot was interesting also. A solid and thoroughly enjoyable story. Please can I have more like this!
