PerioMed™ 0.63% Stannous Fluoride Oral Rinse Concentrate is an antimicrobial rinse and an integral part of an effective oral health regimen. When combined with a professional treatment program, PerioMed is an effective aid for those that need help controlling:

PerioMed incorporates 0.63% stannous fluoride in a pleasant tasting concentrate to provide antimicrobial activity for up to 8 hours. This concentrate does not contain alcohol and costs about the same as the leading over-the-counter mouthwashes when used as prescribed. The easy-to-use pump-action bottle helps to dispense the right amount and the great taste helps ensure regular, effective at-home use. The 0.63% stannous fluoride concentrate, when diluted with water, is an ideal excellent solution for limiting the growth of bacteria for protection against tooth decay and gum disease. The satisfying flavor helps assure compliance with the treatment and promotes regular, at-home use.

Advantages of Stannous Fluoride
Fluoride is a mineral that works by making the teeth stronger and more resistant to decay caused by acid and bacteria. The most common form of fluoride is sodium fluoride, used in most over-the-counter toothpastes and mouthwash products containing fluoride. Stannous fluoride, the active ingredient in PerioMed, has antibacterial properties; less bacteria means less acid byproduct. But it also helps to convert the tooth mineral hydroxyapatite into fluorapatite, which fortifies the enamel against acid attacks. Stannous fluoride remains active for up to 8 hours, providing antimicrobial activity and strengthening tooth enamel.

    It used to be, you could not purchase this product without a prescriiption from a Dentist. I been using it for over 20 years. I am a older peerson and have all my teeth. After you brush at night, take a small paper cup add only one squirt from the pump of this product, one time hitting the pump , to the smallest amount of water, take it all at once into your mouth rinse it for one minute. Do not eat for one hour, this is the reason I used it at night . You will have no cavities, or bleeding gums, fantastic invention. for 20 years no problems with my gums or teeth

Granted, I still had to go to the dentist to actually get proper care, but rinsing with it was a big help since I wasn't able to afford an appointment for some time. The nozzle is not the best, I feel like I wasted some of it a few times, but over time I got better at calculating the amount per pump so I could make it last longer. Wish it was more readily available for everyone, looking forward for it to come back to stock since the last one is almost done
