I have some heel pain when wearing my dress shoes, so I decided to give these a try. Before buying them, I wet my foot and stood on a piece of cardboard. This showed that I have an average/medium arch. That's why I bought this blue product rather than the more popular green one.
It's clear that the product is well made and uses good materials, but unfortunately it caused even more pain than the original insole. After wearing these insoles, I not only had heel pain but also a new pain in my toes that was excruciating. It's worth noting that this insole takes up about as much space as the previous one, so shoe volume wasn't the issue.
I'm at a loss as to what to do now because there are so many types of insoles and don't know which ones would work for me. I bought these because Superfeet have such positive reviews and recommendations online, but they absolutely weren't good for me. I guess I will stick with my original insole and just deal with the heel pain.
