Quick-Start Guide
Step 1: Connect to Compressor
Set your compressor to 60 PSI and use your air hose's quick-connect fitting to connect your tool. If you need to, you can safely increase the pressure up to 110 PSI.
Put a few drops of oil into the fitting before connecting to a compressor to keep things running smoothly!
Step 2: Load Fasteners
Squeeze the latch at the back of the magazine and pull back.
Staples go on the middle bar of the magazine. Brad nails sit in the bottom groove on the left side.
Squeeze the back lever and push the magazine closed. Release the lever to secure your fasteners.
Step 3: Make Adjustments
Change the firing depth using the wheel on the right side - clockwise increases depth, counterclockwise decreases it. The fastener should sit flush to your finished surface.
The 360º air exhaust can be rotated to keep air from blowing in your face. Or, use it to blow debris away from your workspace!
Step 4: Test and Go!
Now is the time to fine-tune your PSI and to practice firing. If the nailer is leaving a large dent in your work surface, lower your PSI or adjust the driving depth.
Pro Tip: Use a piece of scrap material to test out your nailer before starting on the real thing!
18 Gauge Brad Nails and 18 Gauge ¼” Narrow Crown Staples
With the convenience of a brad nailer and a stapler in one, the S2-118G2 is a must-have tool for homeowners. The magazine has been designed to accommodate brads from 3/8" to 2" and narrow crown staples from 1/2" to 1-5/8", so you can easily switch between the two fasteners depending on the job. Brad nails are easy to hide thanks to the thin 18 gauge diameter and a small head, and it's easy to work with delicate pieces of wood without any splitting. The narrow crown staples have a 1/4" crown, which is great for holding power without the larger crown of other staples. Whatever fastener you need, we have the right one for you!

- Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2024Style: Tool OnlyVerified PurchaseOverall, this 18-gauge brad nailer (haven't tried it as a stapler) does a fine job. I used it for installing new baseboards and the only issue I have is with the no-mar safety tip. It seemed to get it the way more that it helped, and it slipped/slid too easily. Practice first if you can on something you won't be installing.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2024Style: Tool OnlyVerified PurchaseFirst, questions to Google's AI are useless. Yes, AI, there is an owner's manual/parts list online; go to NuMax website. Why didn't you know this? Like I said: Useless.
I just received this tool. Examining it carefully, I was impressed with its construction, fit and finish. I did not disassemble it. Function with the provided nails and staples was flawless even in very hard 1/4" bamboo flooring and 3/4" oak.
Longevity unknown; stay tuned. I will update if I have further information.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2024Style: Tool OnlyVerified PurchaseI was not sure about this gun when I ordered it but after using it I’m greatly surprised how well it works because of the price. I have had no problems yet and I have gone through about 2500 staples so far. If your thinking of getting a stapler look no further. This will not disappoint.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2019Style: Tool OnlyVerified PurchaseGood for the price, but misfires 1 time in 5. Does not jam though and I haven't had to dig nails out of the gun when misfires happened. One not small problem is that it leave big craters in the wood whether you're stapling or nailing. Therefore, its oksyfor paint work. but no good for finished woodwork. Dont buy this If you want to see the beauty of the wood, unless you also want to see the beauty of wood filler. That said it's handy for sitework as long as you're planning to paint.
